Mission

Our mission is to empower homes with affordable and sustainable solar storage through the circular economy.
Concretely, that means making residential battery storage accessible to a much wider audience by recovering end-of-life lithium-ion batteries, remanufacturing them with our proprietary technology, and assembling the final product in France. The resources for the clean energy transition are already out there. We’re just making sure they get a second chance.

Solution

We produce the first French residential solar battery made from second-life lithium-ion modules. The product is a stackable LFP system, from 5 to 15 kWh, designed entirely in-house and assembled in France. It is universally compatible with any solar installation and can be installed by a professional in under an hour.
What sets it apart is the technology underneath. Our proprietary predictive ageing algorithms let us test and certify end-of-life battery modules with a health level above 90%, which is what makes the whole second-life approach viable at scale. The result is a product with an 80% lower carbon footprint than a new equivalent, backed by a 10-year warranty, at a price point that finally makes the ROI work for homeowners, around 9 years on average versus 12 or more for competing solutions.
We sell exclusively through solar installers, which is a deliberate choice. They are the trusted local interface with the end customer, and our model is built to help them grow: a differentiated French and green product to stand out in a crowded market, direct tech support, and down the line, recurring revenues through a Virtual Power Plant. We already have 600 batteries ordered and a pipeline of 30 qualified installers, with one paying pilot already live in real grid conditions.

Success story with Orange

We don’t have a formal collaboration with Orange yet, but the connection is real and the timing feels right.
Orange manages thousands of telecom network sites across France, each of them powered by backup battery systems. Most of those batteries are lithium-ion. When they reach end of life, they are replaced and largely wasted. That is exactly the type of sourcing we work with: tested, traceable, industrial-grade modules that still have years of useful life ahead. There is a natural and largely untapped circular economy loop between Orange’s infrastructure and what we do.
Beyond sourcing, we share the same end market. Orange Energy already positions itself in the connected home space, offering solar and energy management solutions to residential customers. Our battery is designed for that exact use case, universally compatible, smart, made in France, and priced to actually work for the homeowner. Whether as a distribution channel, an integration partner, or a sourcing ally, there are several doors worth opening.

Impact

Our impact operates on three levels, and they reinforce each other.
The most immediate is environmental. Every battery we produce saves 1 tonne of CO2 compared to manufacturing a new equivalent, a figure validated by a Carbon4 study on lithium-ion battery carbon footprints. That gain comes directly from the circular approach: we skip the mining and production of new cells entirely. At scale, this becomes significant fast.
The second is energy autonomy for households. A home equipped with our battery goes from consuming roughly 40% of its own solar production to up to 80 or 90%. That translates into around 600 euros saved on electricity bills every year, a payback period of about 9 years, and real protection against rising energy prices. For a lot of French households, solar panels without storage are only half the equation. We close the loop.
The third is systemic. By making second-life batteries economically viable, we are also proving that the circular economy can work in a hard tech, safety-critical industry. We are not just selling a cheaper product, we are demonstrating a replicable model at a moment when Europe is sitting on a growing wave of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries, with regulation now requiring their reuse since August 2025. What we are building today is infrastructure for a problem that will only get bigger.
