Athonet is a software publisher that specialises in mobile LTE telecoms infrastructure (4G and subsequent technologies). It has developed a complete LTE software suite that includes the eNodeB base station, the ePC core network, and the phone’s software stack (UE). All of its technology runs on standard PC equipment—a fact that sets Athonet’s offer apart.
The start-up works at the centre of a global ecosystem that aims to create a new generation of more agile, accessible, affordable and open mobile telecoms equipment manufacturers.
