NaturalPad’s MediMoov solution uses video games and the latest motion capture technologies (Kinect, Leap Motion, Oculus Rift, etc) to help people improve their health. The telemedicine web platform offers movement-based games designed for the purposes of rehabilitation and prevention, notably for use at retirement homes.
Developed in partnership with health professionals through a joint design process, MediMoov is now recognised as a class 1 medical device (European Council directive 93/42/CEE) and has been installed in university hospitals, rehabilitation centres, EHPAD nursing homes and physiotherapy clinics. The game’s fun interface and its ability to visualise the progress users make helps health professionals improve their day-to-day work and boosts patient motivation – and their health!
