The fintech InTouch imagined a solution that uses a single terminal to make a wide range of payment methods interoperable (electronic money, mobile money, store credit cards, cash, etc.).
Its universal platform, known as “Guichet Unique Touch” (“Touch One-Stop Counter”), provides access to various services (bill payment, money transfer, reloading prepaid cards, banking and insurance services, etc.). Users can install the solution on an Android phone, personal assistant, cash register, website, mobile app or even use it for peer-to-peer sales on social media.
The InTouch solution is already used by nearly 1,200 points of sale in Senegal. It is also present in Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Kenya and Cameroon. Its ambition: a fast roll-out in 36 countries across Africa and the Middle East.
