Four days, more than 60 partners, 22,000 visitors to the booth, and dozens of business opportunities already identified—the 2026 edition of VivaTech confirmed the central role of open innovation in Orange’s strategy.
A look back at an intense week filled with meetings, demonstrations, and a shared conviction: innovation is built collectively.
A week organized around four main themes
The Orange booth guided visitors through four highlights, each dedicated to one of the group’s strategic pillars: Future-ready Connectivity, Future-ready Experience, and finally Future-ready Society, which was open to the general public on the last day.
Day 1: The Kickoff
From the very first day, the Orange booth saw a steady stream of visitors from opening to closing, with notable appearances by group executives and high-level institutional guests. Discussions largely revolved around a common theme: how Orange collaborates with startups to co-innovate, experiment, and accelerate the technologies that will shape the future. Among them, the spotlight was on Kerys, a concrete example of commercial success born from the collaboration between Orange and the startup ecosystem, driven by the French Tech Mission.
Day 2: Agent-Based Artificial Intelligence at the Center of the Debate
The second day highlighted the power of collectively driven innovation, with several key moments:
- A roundtable discussion organized by the ALAIAN telecom alliance, focusing on the impact of agent-based AI on innovation and transformation in the telecom sector, featuring Jérôme Berger, Head of Orange Ventures.
- Inspiring discussions with Orange customers, who shared their vision for collaboration with the group and its startup ecosystem, illustrating the importance of aligning business needs, emerging technologies, and innovation stakeholders.
- A reaffirmation by Orange teams of the strategic role of partnerships with startups in accelerating innovation, experimenting more quickly, and creating tangible value for customers.
Day 3: Business Day and the Celebration of Responsible Innovation
As the final day dedicated to businesses, the third day featured a series of highlights celebrating the tangible impact of responsible innovation, including award ceremonies, discussions, and inspiring collaborations.
Highlight: the Orange Start-up Challenge ceremony, themed “Responsible AI, Tangible Value,” which recognized five startups in three categories:
- Live Intelligence Ecosystem : SONAID
- Home Platform Experience : FORGIS
- Cybersecurity & Quantum : AIM Intelligence, CryptoNext et NeuralTrust
These five award winners demonstrate how responsible innovation can create real value for both society and the economy.
The event also highlighted startups from the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region that are developing innovative solutions to address local challenges with a lasting impact.
Day 4: Focus on the general public and the society of tomorrow
After three days focused on connectivity, user experience, and business, the final day of VivaTech opened the Orange booth to the general public under one theme: a society ready for tomorrow, built on trusted technology.
On the agenda:
- “Protocol 404”, a tablet-based escape game designed to teach players how to respond to a cyberattack.
- “Don’t Go to the Police”, a documentary by Orange Cyberdefense that chronicles a real-life cyberattack and its ripple effects.
- “For Good Connections”, a program dedicated to responsible digital use: managing screen time, combating cyberbullying, and young people’s online habits.
- An exclusive showcase of new startups, reserved for this final day.
This is Orange’s way of reminding us that trustworthy technology also depends on educating, empowering, and protecting users, with the goal of creating a safer, more inclusive, and more responsible digital society.
