Orange Fab Pitch Session organized by Orange Fab France

On Wednesday, May 15, more than 60 start-ups from the Orange Fab international network in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Europe gathered at the Orange Gardens site.

The event, introduced by Mari-Noëlle Jégo Laveissière Deputy Managing Director, in charge of the Technology and Global Innovation division, brings together each year the entire international ecosystem of Orange Fab, the Group’s start-up accelerator. More than 60 start-ups from Korea, Japan, Poland, Romania, Tunisia,… came to present their innovative services and products in various fields (Blockchain, 5G, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Data…).

For 2 hours, with talent and conviction, these start-ups pitched in one minute in front of an audience composed of Orange Business Units and business managers, who are real potential customers. This meeting, organized by Orange Fab France teams, aims to establish commercial partnerships for each start-up present.

“We are an international network of national accelerators, unique in the world. This event on May 15 was an opportunity to illustrate the reality of the cross-acceleration business that we now practice within the Orange Fab network. With Orange, such an approach based on the know-how and expertise of many women and men, both internal and external, gives full meaning to start-up / Large Group relationships! ” emphasizes Pascal Latouche, Director of Orange Fab France and Coordinator of the Orange Fab international network.

In addition, several of these start-ups also participated in VivaTechnology, the global event dedicated to start-ups and their capacity for innovation, on 16, 17 and 18 May 2019 in Paris.

Since their creation in 2013, 17 Orange Fab around the world have been selecting promising start-ups several times a year and offering them support by giving them access to experts who provide them with both human and material assistance, with the aim of building commercial partnerships at national and international level.
